Nitrovideo has been around since the internet itself, and is today one of the oldest celebrity video sites in existence. Run by BadCat, this massive archive has stood the test of time, and today it counts well over 25.000 clips in their collection, as well as over 300.000 images, screen captures and scans.
All of us who have been in the celeb scene for a while, know this website. It has hosted cappers such as Dann (who incidentally runs his own website), Jake, Maverick (who packed up and left for MoviesNXS and his own website), Toad, bbburnsy (who also posts clips at MoviesNXS), and a host of others. Thrived upon quantity above quality, this website is perhaps one of the most visited today.
Due to the fact that they still host a lot of their old archive (many clips are not available to get again) as well as their new one, we gave them an average rating in the low quality clips department. It also seems that they done strive to get rid of the old ones, as they have a lot of dupes in their archives as well, which pulls their rating downwards.
If you are looking for an all-round archive which has plenty to offer, there is certainly better websites out there, which has more content and better pricing. Memberships with these people come at a high price though, and you have to shell out $29.95 for a full month membership. We think thats a bit steep, considering they run faulty advertising as well. They claim to have over 100.000 clips in their collection, which is a mouthful, as we have proof they only got 1/4 of that amount. They have to count ALL the files ever then, but they have only 1/4 of them online, and that is counting duplicate files as well.
Verdict: A good website with good content, but their high price and divious marketing pulls down the overall rating.
