Biography
Amanda de Cadenet (born 19 May 1972) is a British-born photographer and former actress.
Career
De Cadenet was a co-presenter for The Word, a controversial late-night Channel 4 magazine show, and has claimed she was 15 at the time, even though she was born in 1972, 18 years before the show first aired. She also co-hosted 'The Big Breakfast. She was married to Duran Duran bassist John Taylor by whom she had a daughter, Atlanta.[citation needed]
She has appeared in several films, including Four Rooms by independent film maker Allison Anders, as well as Fall, and Brokedown Palace. de Cadenet has worked for magazines such as Spin,Jane and Harper’s Bazaar, among others. In 2005, she published a book entitled Rare Birds; her subjects include Sophie Dahl, Beck Hansen, and Nick Valensi.[citation needed]

Her father is the racing car driver Alain de Cadenet.
