Biography

Alma was born in Elbasan, Albania. She started performing in theatre at a young age and even hosted a small television show in her early teens before moving to the states. After graduating from high school Alma attended Rutgers University (New Jersey) where she studied a number of subjects from biology to french literature, philosophy etc, before deciding that a life in the performing arts was the unavoidable and adventurous future. She spent almost a year in Seattle working on fringe theater, before moving to Los Angeles.

• Opened her own theater company while in college.
• She is fluent in Albanian, French, Italian, Spanish.
• For her role of Susannah in "Float", she learned to speak Armenian for a few of her scenes.
• Spent two months in India filming "Karma".
