Biography
Aimee Garcia (born November 28, 1978) is an American actress, known for her roles as Veronica Palmero on the sitcom George Lopez and more recently, Marisa Benez in the NBC series, Trauma.
Career
Garcia was cast as Maria on The WB's Greetings from Tucson and appeared in the Global Frequency television pilot as Aleph. She had a role on Cadet Kelly, and also co-starred alongside Anthony Anderson in the TV series All About the Andersons, where she played Lydia. In 2006, she appeared on George Lopez as George Lopez's niece.
Garcia starred alongside actress/singer Jessica Simpson in the 2008 comedy/drama Major Movie Star. She also played a brief part in the movie D-War and narrated the Adam Sandler film Spanglish.
As of 2009, she was on the Peter Berg NBC medical drama Trauma as the EMT Helicopter Pilot Marisa Benez.
Trivia
Aimee auditioned for the lead in the 1997 film " Selena" alongside Constance Marie with whom she starred in George Lopez and Jennifer Lopez to whom the lead role went to. She appears briefly in the 2007 10th year anniversary edition bonus features of the Selena DVD.
