Synopsis
Reynolds plays Yaqui Joe, an Indian who robs a bank in order to buy guns for his people who are being savagely repressed by the government. Set in turn of the century Mexico, it tells the story of his flight into Mexico and his pursuit by an American lawman. They eventually become allies and team up with Welch to take up the cause of the Indians.
Review
Good western action movie that could have been better with more quality
editing for some scenes tended to drag.Also,some action sequences had bad
choreography most particularly in the first half of the movie.Great train
battle action sequences later on in the movie though!Welch was so sexy and
gave it her all despite a limited role for her while Brown,though very
macho,could not act well enough in this one.Very good performances by
Reynolds and Lamas.Not a movie for conservative people.The story/script is
average although it seems to have been inspired by LAWRENCE OF ARABIA,then
injected with the CLINT EASTWOOD style 1960's westerns......
